Instructions for using the RFID Asset Tracking Application on your Mobile Device1. Pre-load a list of items to session 2 (Item List) in the following order (this list can be loaded via a tab delimited text file, TracerPlus Connect or TracerPlus ODBC Link software).
b. Manufacturer c. Type d. Model e. S/N 2. Open TracerPlus and select Scan Items. 3. Scan or Enter a location your are currently scanning at. This will move the cursor down to the Scan RFID Field. 4. Press and hold down the Trigger on your Motorola MC3090Z or MC9090G for 5 or so seconds and wave it around the room. 5. If multiple tags are in the room it should start inputting them to the scanner, looking up the information and submitting automatically until all scans captured have been entered. 6. During these submits it will update your source session data (Item List) with the location and scan date for all items scanned. 7. After scanning you can click the View Scanned Items to view all items scanned for this location, click the Back button to return to the scanning page. 8. If you see that you missed some items that may be in the room you can repeat process 4 above. It will ignore all assets already scanned and only submit assets that weren't previously found/scanned. 9. Repeat the above steps for each room/location.
